I want to use this post to give a shout out to all of you guys reading this! Thank you so much to those of you who have subscribed and to those of you that read our weekly blog post and or watch our weekly videos. Kyla and I want Vagabond Fit to be an inspiration for you guys to be fit for your lives. Whether your scaling a 14,000+ foot mountain wishing the oxygen was a little more plentiful or simply taking a bike ride on your local bike path wondering how many miles away the nearest ice cream shop is, make sure you are not being held back. Whatever your adventures and your getaways look like, don't let your physical ability hold you back from the experience you want to have. Make sure your physical ability enhances your experiences. We want this platform to grow, and grow, and grow, so that we can share what is hopefully an encouragement to our audience. Vagabond Fit is young, but we believe it can be mighty! So please share us on your social media, subscribe to this blog and our YouTube channel, and follow our Instagram. We greatly appreciate you all because our voice is silent when no ears are around to hear it. So just like "if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" If we post on our blog and no one sees it, did it really happen? I don't know...so lets make this easy and not find out...in all seriousness and sincerity, THANK YOU!!! Now onto Winona Lake, Indiana in a much more brief fashion this week:
We mountain biked! we are suckers for mountain biking. There is also a sneak peak of one of my lifting sessions and a lifting class CTA and Vagabond Fit are putting on together called Battle at the Barn in this weeks video: Barn Fitness. ***BONUS*** Anyways, biking was fun but the course at Winona Lake was a little confusing. Granted that could have been on us, but I'm not sure. Our final say is that the course has potential but is confusing to navigate.
I hate to say it guys, but we did pizza again. Light Rail Café. SO. STINKIN. GOOD. Wood fired+ fresh ingredients=dynamite za (that's how the kids are saying pizza nowadays...za, I mean who really has time to say the piz, that'd be exhausting). It was so good that I almost felt like I was cheating on Una Bellas in Wabash. They are going to have to fight each other for my loyalty. I don't know who is going to come out on top though...
Sometimes in life you have to "treat yo self" as Parks and Rec so brilliantly put it. So for "fuel" we did ice cream, and disguised it as post workout carbs...anybody buying that? I wouldn't either. It was great, I mean how do you screw up ice cream?
Once again, thank you to all of you. Stay tuned for more FITNESS | FOOD | FUEL and as we follow our fitness on up to Michigan again.
